In late January, Forms 1099-DIV, 1099-B, 1099-R and 1099-Q will be mailed to shareholders of all funds excluding AEW Real Estate Fund and Natixis Diversified Income Fund. Forms for these two funds will be mailed at the end of February.

Form 1099-DIV reports taxable fund dividend and capital gains distributions. If your taxable distribution from any Natixis Fund was less than $10 in 2011, it will not be reported on your Form 1099-DIV. However, you are responsible for including the sum in your tax calculations. If your fund(s) did not pay dividends/capital gains, you will not receive a Form 1099-DIV.

This statement provides cost basis information for shareholders who have sold shares during 2011. This information may not be available for all shareholders. The cost basis calculation method you have chosen as part of the new cost basis rules will not be shown on this statement, as the rules apply only to shares purchased and sold after January 1, 2012. Shareholders with wash sales2 will receive a corrected cost basis statement in late February. |
