Firm is one of only a handful to be on the list past eight years

For an impressive eighth straight year, Natixis Global Asset Management – U.S. was named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts by the Boston Globe. The firm cracked the Top 30, placing 27th in the subcategory of large employer (250 to 999 employees).

Natixis is one of only a handful of firms to have appeared on the Globe’s list each of the last eight years.

One of our affiliates also made the list – AEW Capital Management placed 23rd in the Medium employers category.

The Globe’s results are based on a survey of more than 77,000 employees representing more than 350 organizations. The Globe’s list ranks employers based on seven factors:

  • Direction: Do employees have confidence in the leaders of the company?
  • Execution: Do employees believe senior managers have a good understanding of what the company needs to do to succeed and are they sharing information well?
  • Connection: Do employees feel like they are part of something meaningful?
  • Management: Do managers listen to employees, praising good work and making good use of people’s skills
  • Work: Does the company encourage different points of view?
  • Engagement: Does your firm motivate its employees?
  • Pay and benefits: Are workers fairly compensated?
Winners are placed into one of four categories – Largest employers (1,000 or more employees); Large employers (250-999 employees); Medium employers (100 to 249 employees) and small employers (less than 100 employees).

The Top Places to Work magazine will be available online and it includes online extras, such as videos, sortable rankings and photo galleries.
